Our Facebook Group is a forum for discussing Computer Science topics relevant for GATE CSE. We post the best free resources available on Internet related to Computer Science and Engineering. Our group is useful for students and professionals who like to enrich their foundations in this field. It is also useful for people preparing for higher studies such as Masters and/or PhD’s in Computer Science along with preparing for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). GATE is a common entrance exam for M.E/M.Tech programs in IISc/ IITs and many other institutes/PSUs and our Q/A site for it is GATE Overflow. GATE CSE Posting Guidelines for Members
- Please be considerate and utilize Google prior to posting questions to the group. Most questions can easily be found through various search engines. Questions that can be found on Google will be removed. All previous year GATE questions are in GO.
- DO NOT duplicate answers. Please review previous comments BEFORE posting your answer. If you agree with a previous answer, then “LIKE” that answer and do not duplicate an answer already given.
- Please do not post personal email addresses or phone numbers in the group.
- If you want to contribute an answer in the group, please be descriptive and informative in your replies. Everyone is here to learn.
- If your question is in the form of a jpeg, please include a searchable description or hashtag so that it can be searched later by others.
- GATE CSE is not a place to debate which is the better paid institute. We are providing/sharing everything required for self preparation for GATE. If you sill want to pursue coaching you can do, but please do it outside GO.
- GATE CSE is committed to providing you the best FREE resources available. However, we do respect all copyright’s and ask that you please refrain from uploading, posting or sharing of any material which may be in violation of any copyright.
- In order to ensure aspirants focus on good and quality questions we no longer allow “photos” of coaching material questions to be posted on the group or on GO. In the past many aspirants were solely focusing on those and as expected they did badly in GATE.
- Strict request to all members not to private message admins. They all are busy and have their own jobs. If you trouble them more they won’t come to our group. So we have advised our moderators/admins to ban any such members.
- Fake Profiles: You may use a fake profile to discuss technical stuffs. But using a fake profile and engaging in unnecessary debates is not allowed.
- Every year we do collect details from members regarding results, admissions, experiences etc. and make them available for future aspirants. We do not allow anyone else to collect these in the group – if you require any such information please make a request in a post and if genuine we shall collect the information from members.
- You are not allowed to tag any moderator unless he/she has given you permission to do so.

- You may use any name for your profile but if you use a profile picture of cover picture which is advertising something; you may be blocked from the group.
- GATE CSE’s goal is to provide free and quality education to students. We do not allow advertisements or spam of paid coaching institutes, paid video lectures or any other where there is monetary gain to be posted in this group. Please do not make posts regarding these paid sites in our group. At the same time we also do not allow unauthentic contents to be posted just because they are free. These posts will be removed and the member will be at risk of being removed from this group. GATE CSE has the right to remove any posts that encourages students to join any paid services.
