ISI DCG Previous Year Papers with Solution

Indian Statistical Institute(ISI) conduct the admission test for Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications(PGDCA) with the test code DCG.

The Programme Code for PG Diploma in Computer Science is DCAG.
ISI conducts one MCQ test for PG Diploma in Computer Science with the Test Subjects like Mathematics and Statistics.

Scope:

The programme is intended to provide students with comprehensive training in computer programming, and an introduction to the theory and applications of computer science, in addition to some exposure to Mathematics and Statistics. It is so designed that on successful completion, the students will be able to take up jobs as computer programmers and/or data entry operators in such departments of government and industries where computer
programming and database management is required.

Duration and Stipend:

The total duration of this programme is one year, and it is offered at the ISI Giridih Branch. There is no stipend or tuition fee for the programme.

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for admission to this programme, an applicant must have
• a three-year Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a subject.

Selection Procedure:

Selection is based on the performance in written test and interview. The admission test will comprise of multiple-choice questions on basic Mathematics.

PGDCA students will stay and learn the course at Giridih Branch of ISI Kolkata but have to Visit ISI Kolkata regarding their placement or for some other kind of educational seminars, placement training etc. from time to time.
